Over the last couple of months I’ve been working with HAD-IT Ltd on their social media. They’re currently expanding and opening a new site in Huddersfield at the end of November, so now seems like a good time to tell you a bit more about them!
Andy Patten, Director of HAD-IT Ltd got in touch after The Yorkshire Mafia’s Huddersfield Huddle event back in September, I went over to their Selby office to meet him and find out a bit more about what exactly they do. This week, I’ve had a sneak preview of their new Huddersfield premises while they prepare for the grand opening of their new Service Centre next week.
- HAD-IT covers Apple product repairs and resale. Their Apple-certified technicians can repair almost any problem relating to iPhones; from cracked screens to water damage, and they always use genuine parts supplied by Apple. They also sell refurbished Macbooks, iMacs and other Apple hardware. If you’re after a new computer, but don’t want to pay Apple prices for a brand new machine, refurbished is a good option! HAD-IT Ltd have a selection of refurbished products to suit most budgets. The new Huddersfield showroom will have a range of refurbished products on display.
- HAD-COPY focusses on photocopiers and printers. They offer managed print solutions for a wide range of businesses in different sectors. From SMEs through to multinational companies; HAD-COPY can find a managed print solution to cater for your needs. They’re official distributors of Lexmark and Konica Minolta machines and have a number of service engineers on hand to assist you with any problems you might have. In fact, before setting up HAD-IT Ltd, Andy was actually a Field Service Engineer with Konica Minolta! He still has a great relationship with the brand and can guarantee to get you a great price on your print packages and equipment for your business.
- HAD-PRINT offers bespoke, high-quality print services that includes marketing literature from small-scale flyers to huge banners. The HAD-PRINT service is based in Huddersfield and includes printing to fabric for workwear and corporate apparel, so you can customise workwear for your staff. The printing side of things will be run by Stuart, who has a wealth of experience from over 25 years in the industry.
Obviously, HAD-IT Ltd are no strangers to technology. Talking to Andy while I got out my MacBook Pro at our first meeting, you can tell he’s a big fan of all shiny things with the Apple logo on. Andy is easy to talk to and knows his stuff, we got chatting about all sorts of things, from the Apple Pencil and the new iPhone X, to instant bluetooth printing and the implications of GDPR. Andy’s not only passionate about Apple products, but photocopiers and printers too. Strangely, I came away from my meeting with him actually considering buying a printer…
We had a great initial meeting, and I knew that Andy and his team would be easy to work with and that they were genuinely enthusiastic about what they do. Andy was wanting assistance with the business’s social media accounts. Like many of my clients, the guys at HAD-IT Ltd understand the power of social media, they didn’t need any convincing, what they needed was a strategy. Social media requires consistency, patience and more time than you think!
I’ve been working together with HAD-IT Ltd in the run up to the opening of their new Huddersfield Service Centre, and have recently met Andy’s new business partner, Stuart Nimmo. Stuart will be based in the Huddersfield Service Centre when it opens and he’s in charge of all things print-related. He’s full of ideas and his optimism is infectious. He’s got loads of experience working with local firms and has a broad network of contacts within the industry. When I met him for the first time, he was getting stuck in getting things sorted for the grand opening, preparing sample items to highlight his particular skill set.
HAD-IT Ltd are hosting an Open House event to introduce themselves to local businesspeople in Huddersfield. The plan is to have drinks and nibbles available from 3pm-8pm on Thursday 23rd November, where local business owners can come down for a bit of informal networking.
If you’d like any more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with either Stuart or Andy on 01484 500441. Otherwise, we’ll see you there! I’d like to wish the guys the best of luck from Word it! Communications Ltd and I’m looking forward to watching HAD-IT Ltd grow their Huddersfield client base!
